Part of the Penguin Decades series which was created to celebrate Penguin's 75th anniversary of publishing books. Four decades were covered by this series; the 1950's, 1960's, 1970's and 1980's. Within each decade five titles were selected. This novel by Ian Fleming was selected as one of those five for the 1950's. The other four titles were:

Ian Fleming Publications released this special paperback edition of Charlie Higson's "On His Majesty's Secret Service" in a limited run of 200 copies. This edition differs from the standard paperback as it's signed by the author and has red sprayed edges featuring a repeated "007" motif. Like the standard edition it features an exclusive Q&A with the author.
